The Alliance operates on three core values:
- Expertise and scientific evidence: any statements and policy recommendations are based on thorough research, facts, and best evidence.
- Transparency: EACH is open and transparent in its governance, policy, and reporting.
- Inclusiveness: EACH welcomes all organisations which fulfil the partnership criteria.
No fee is required to join. The activities of the Alliance are supported by voluntary contributions of all partners.
The partners collectively decide on the activities of the Alliance. They include but are not limited to policy statements, calls to action, events, and awareness campaigns. Partners meet at least twice a year to review status and discuss and agree on future actions. Decisions are made by consensus.
